Q Week 5 Lab Report You are expected to do the labs assigned this week and to post your observations using this Word document in Blackboard. • Indicate what you did to achieve the desired goal, problems encountered, problem resolution, and lessons learned. • Include references that facilitated your understanding and problem solving. This Week’s Assignment has two parts (at least 750 words for the whole report – that includes Part One and Two) Part One: Use the attached the Week 5 Lab Projects document to guide you with this week’s lab. Submit this document in Blackboard showing the work you did to complete the assignment. As you conduct the lab exercises, provide clear screenshots with comments describing what each screenshot displays. After completing the labs, please describe any problems that you encountered, how you resolved these problems, and what you learned from the labs. Be sure to include references that facilitated your understanding and problem solving. Research the following bulleted items below, using the relevant reading resources for this week and supplementary ones you may come up with: • What firewall systems include any of these features: Network Address Translation (NAT), a proxy server or a bastion host? How would the function of the firewall be enhanced by any of them? • What are the specific limitations of security technology? Are there ways of overcoming those limitations? How can the review of security audits and logs help in identifying those limitations, eliminating them and generally help in improving computer security?

After trying multiple times to login to pfsense vm I concluded that I probably entered the incorrect password enough to be locked out. Using the pfSense terminal I reset the web configurator password and once logged in I change password to the correct one. PfSense was not installing both squid packages. After performing some research, I determined that the pfSense os needed to be updated to most up to date stable release. Once pfSense os was updated, I was able to successfully install both squid packages.
